AList was created by makeup artist Ariel Lewis, owner of a prestigious Maryland based on site wedding makeup and hair team. Ariel grew her team of incredibly talented and passionate artist through a community over competition culture. As her team expanded, her company’s reputation expanded far beyond bridal requests. Over the years, the team developed contracts with production companies, magazines, film companies, and had a huge demand for on-site “last minute” beauty inquires. The AList was created for the convenience of their non-bridal clients and production company contracts.

When Ariel decided to launch her second company “The AList” she was committed to keeping the same exceptional artist standards which helped her build the five star reputation her bridal beauty business had come to earn.
